Ingredients
1 | You need 1/4 cup of chopped carrot. |
2 | Approximately 1 cup of Cucumber chopped as you like. |
3 | Prepare 1/2 cup of soaked Moong Lentil. |
4 | Take 2 teaspoons of chopped Coriander leaves. |
5 | It’s 1 of chopped green chilli (optional). |
6 | It’s 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. |
7 | Take 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. |
8 | You need as per taste of Salt. |
9 | Prepare 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds paste. |
10 | You need 1 pinch of asafoetida /hing. |
11 | It’s 1 teaspoon of urad daal (optional). |
Cooking Step by Step
Step 1 | Soak moong dal for half an hour to one hour and drain off the excess water in a strainer.. |
Step 2 | In a mixing bowl add strained moong daal, chopped cucumber, chopped chilli and chopped carrot. Mix well together.. |
Step 3 | Add other ingredients together without chopped Coriander leaves. Give them a good mix.. |
Step 4 | Salad is ready. Keep it in a refrigerator for 2 hours. Then serve it and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.. |
