1 Approximately 500 grams of mutton.
2 You need 100 grams of curd.
3 Approximately 150 ml of mustard oil.
4 Prepare 2 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste.
5 Take 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
6 Take 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder.
7 About 1 teaspoon of kashmiri red chilli powder.
8 Take 3 tablespoons of coriander powder.
9 Prepare 1 tablespoon of garam masala powder.
10 Approximately to taste of Salt.
11 You need for of Whole spices:.
12 Approximately 8-10 of pepper corns.
13 Prepare 2 of Green cardamoms.
14 It’s 1 of black cardemom.
15 About 2 of bay leaves.
16 About 4 of cloves.
17 It’s 1 of mace.
18 About 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds.
19 Approximately 3-4 of onions.
20 You need as needed of Chopped coriander leaves (optional).

Cooking Instructions

Step 1 Slice onion longitudinally,keep aside..
Step 2 Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan,when smoked,add whole spices and sliced onion..
Step 3 Fry onion till golden,add mitton and cook on high flame till water dries..
Step 4 Lower down flame,add turmeric powder and ginger -garlic paste..
Step 5 Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes.Add coriander powder and red chilli powder..
Step 6 Add salt and cover the lid.cook on mediumto low flame for 40-45 minutes or till mutton is tender..
Step 7 Mix well,add 4cups of water and cook on high flame till water boils..
Step 8 Blend curd.Keep aside..
Step 9 Now dry water of mutton if any remain.Add curd and kashmiri red chilli..
Step 10 Cook on low flame till oil separates.Add garam masala powder..
Step 11 Mix well and adjust gravy by addind water pf your desired consistency..
Step 12 Add chopped green coriander.(optional)..
Step 13 Serve with naan/parathe /rice..
